Working in-office at our Burlington location, Pink Elephant is looking for an exceptional Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales team. We offer a very competitive base salary with unlimited commission, benefits, generous time off, AND exciting advancement opportunities.
YOU WILL
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets by converting qualified leads to sales by proactively promoting our education courses, services, and special events through outbound calls
- Generate new leads by contacting organizations within a defined territory
- Participate in targeted campaigns/promotions to increase sales
- Prepare weekly call plans for lead generation and outbound telesales that involve mainly “warm” customers. Some cold calling is required
- Negotiate special prices and conditions with customers, as needed, per established criteria
- Accurately record sales activities and follow-up actions in our CRM database
- Prepare and maintain account plans by demonstrating an ability to understand particulars of accounts, as well as revenue projections and related key business issues
- Take necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner as well as follow up and verify commitments are met afterwards
- Conduct post training follow-up calls to gather and report on customer feedback; promote additional products to generate incremental sales
- Maintain in-depth and up-to-date product knowledge on numerous products/services
YOU HAVE
- Post-secondary education or equivalent education/experience
- 3+ years of prior work experience in B2B telesales/inside sales experience, preferably in a solution sales environment (education/consulting services)
- Perseverance and an ability to overcome objections to achieve sales targets
- Well-developed customer skills and be customer service driven
- Excellent communication skills including written and spoken skills
- Exceptional phone manner with strong listening skills, and an ability to influence others
- Above-average critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to grasp many different business concepts
- Accurate data entry skills coupled with previous CRM database experience (knowledge of MS Dynamics an asset)
- A proficient level of knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- The ability to learn about our products and services to promote them to our customers
- Superior organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well within a professional and business environment
