This DevSecOps Engineer certification course concentrates on typical security risks and the effective practices that can be put in place to diminish and/or thwart those threats. Topics to be addressed include roles and responsibilities, tools, and cultural factors, as well as the differences between traditional security approaches and DevSecOps, how to embed the DevSecOps approach into the normal everyday workflow, and how to get started with DevSecOps.

Upon successful completion of DevSecOps Engineer certification course, you will understand:
- How the three layers of DevSecOps can reduce technical debt, as well as how to maintain the success of a DevSecOps program through measurement and adjustment
- The key aspects of information security that include confidentiality, integrity, and availability
- The types of security threats and attacks related to the key aspects of information security
- The continual nature of security embedded within DevOps

PREREQUISITES
There are no prerequisites for this certification course; however, it is recommended to take the DevOps Essentials certification course or an equivalent.
EXAM & CERTIFICATION
The exam is offered through Professional Designations Corp (PDC) and, to obtain certification, participants must write and pass the exam as follows. The exam is included in the course fee and will be ordered for you by Pink Elephant:
